The FDM team developed the screw press for sludge dewatering in 1990 and since 2005 it has been built in the EU and sold in Europe and North America. More than 500 references of sludge dewatering systems with the FDM screw press as a dewatering unit in the last 20 years in Europe and North America alone show the experience in this market segment.

The screw presses are built in Austria and the EU. The service organization is carried out via the company headquarters in A-4040 Linz or via the respective national representative. Due to our variety of types, more than 40 machine types (from 10 to 2,000kg DS/h - for the mining and mining industry 50,000kg DS/h and more can be achieved), we offer the best possible solution for every application.
